2 lbs (1Kg) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup (50 ml) cooking oil
12 oz (341 ml) kernel corn
2- 10 oz (2 - 284ml) condensed cream of tomato soup
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper
1 tbsp (15 ml) ketchup
2 cups (500 ml) cooked noodles
1 cup (250ml)grated cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions:

Put the ground beef, onion and oil in a frying pan. Stir to break up the meat as it browns.
Drain off fat and discard.Put the mixture into a large bowl.
Add corn, soup, salt, pepper and ketchup and stir to mix together with the meat.
Prepare the noodles according to package directions. Drain and measure.
Combine the cooked noodles with the meat mixture.
Pour into a 3 quart (3.5 litre) casserole.
Sprinkle grated cheese over top and cover.
Bake in a 350F (180C) oven for 45 minutes.
remove cover and continue to bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serves 6 to 8
