1 tbsp (15 ml) cooking oil
1 1/4 lb (620 g) ground beef
3/4 cup (175 ml) chopped onion
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
1/4 tsp (1 ml) pepper
1/2 tsp (2 ml) sage
3 tbsp (45 ml) all purpose flour
2 cups (500 ml) milk
1 tsp (5 ml) curry powder

Cooking Instructions

Combine the oil, ground beef and onion in frying pan and brown the meat , stirring frequently to break up.
Sprinkle with salt pepper and sage.
Stir the flour and curry powder into the meat mixture and mix well.
Add the milk all at once and stir until it boils and thickened, adding more liquid if needed.
This is ready to serve.
Or put into a casserole, cover and bake at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes.
Serve with rice or noodles.
Serves 4
