Seared Tuna with Lemon Grass: Submitted by: TheCooks | Date Added: 21 Nov 2010

2 tuna steaks, about 150 g (5 oz) each
2 tbsp teriyaki marinade or soy sauce
1 tbsp black bean sauce
1 tsp chili sauce
1 stalk lemon grass, bashed with a rolling pin and chopped
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

Cooking Instructions

Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish.
Mix together the remaining ingredients and spoon over the steaks.
Leave to marinate for 1 hour.
Remove the tuna from the marinade.
Preheat the grill and when very hot, cook the steaks for about 4 minutes, turning once.
Steaks should be served rare.
Serves 2.
