2 1/2 lbs (I.2 to 1.5Kg) chicken parts
water to cover
3 1/2 cups (750 ml) cream, fairly thick
1 medium sliced onion
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
1/4 tsp (1 ml) pepper

Cooking Instructions

Put chicken parts into a sauce pan and cover with water.
Simmer for 1 hour and drain.
Pour the cream over the chicken.
Add onion salt and pepper.
Bring to boil, turn down heat.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
This may be put in a casserole and held in a warm oven.
Serves 4 to 6.
